: Not really...in the dark its kinda hard to see
: The marines turn their lights on for extended
: amounts of time (more than a sec) allowing the
: pred to line up a shot, and its their own fault.
: Pred's rail is fine as is, unless the marines
: are stupid
..yep. I agree.
the LPB/HPW differance is more obvious when they are in the middle of 'frag-fights'. The LPB's get the upper hand.
HPW's would do much better to keep thier distance and watch for those "marines just godda turn thier lights on" spots, like lava corners and such.
The pred is NOT ment for fire-fights, its designed for stealth and a good dose of "sneekums". Hence, wimpy RL, killer Rail and squat for armor. Alot of pred's just jump in the middle and blast away with RL and don't live long.
They learn the hard way, or not at all.
The skills are way diff' than either DM or CTF. A slight combination of both skills help thoough. Team work helps alot, like 'sightings', even if its unknowing team mates. Like following the dumb well lit up marine and let him find the pred' for you the "hard way". 8-)
The dark and smarts even out the HPW/LPB differances alot.
Stupid HPW's are frag bait and smart LPB's are deadly. Regardless of targeting skills even.
