The most common mistake is "nhunter", the "s" on the end is missing.

Making a "new" icon for q2/nh. The "+set basedir (PATH)" is then missing and gives an error.
Far easier to copy yer current Q2 icon and call it q2nh or something.

Try'n to use "+set xxxx" in the Q2 console. Its for use in the icon or as DOS command line.
In the console both "set deathmatch 1" and "deathmatch 1" work.

Forgetting the "+exec nhserver.cfg" (cmd line/icon) or "exec nhserver.cfg" (console) part.
You might want to take a peek at this file with NOTEPAD and tweek a few things.
